Primary Job Duties:


Pre-Sales Solutions Architect: Partner (commission split) with Sales Account Executive as technical advisor throughout the entire sales opportunity.


Participate in pre-sales meetings with prospects & clients that require technical expertise.
Assist in high-level design efforts directed at Statements of Work (SOW) creation.
Assist in SOW creation for non-standard SOWs.
Professional technology demonstrations as needed.
Assist the Senior Architect and Consultant (SAC) team with estimation during New Business Assessment (NBA) meetings.
Participate in IT Business Plan facilitated sessions.
Work with the CTO to assess & document new products.
Accountable to Manage Equilibrium Products Manager with collaboration from the CTO’s efforts on Equilibrium standard service offerings and technology stack.


Outside Sales Executive: Act as the sales account executive for your own clients.


Acquire new clients by direct prospecting.
Coordinate prospect meetings, teleconferences, and communications.
Present the Equilibrium IT Solutions value proposition and Equilibrium’s packaged IT support program offerings to executives and managers.
Understand customer business drivers and technology needs to qualify prospects.
Facilitate and perform demonstrations for prospects.
Work with management to assess the opportunity and develop a consultative approach that best meets each client’s unique requirements.
Create and deliver polished proposals and statements of work. Answer customer’s questions and perform necessary follow-up to close the business.
Provide management with verbal and written reports on the customer needs, problems, interests, market situation, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
Maintain an accurate and up to date Sales pipeline with Prospects, Best Few opportunities and Booked Business. Focus on driving and closing services revenue to achieve the overall revenue and Gross Profit targets.
Be knowledgeable (industry expert) about technology solutions, market conditions, competitive activities, and trends through the continuing education via reading of pertinent literature. Maintain credible knowledge of core technologies (Microsoft, VMware, Citrix, Cisco) with focus on network and systems infrastructure solutions as well as development solutions.
Be involved in the IT community through user groups, trade shows, and other opportunities to show Equilibrium's leadership.
Some local and long distance travel required.

Preferred Experience, Knowledge and Qualifications:

Experience in selling IT solutions that are mainly consulting services, or other sales background
An ideal candidate would have IT Infrastructure Product & Engineering Service Sales Experience
Professional prospecting and presentation skills
Technical knowledge of network and systems infrastructure products
Consulting experience and background
Ability to work in a team environment
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Marketing, Business, Management Information Systems or the equivalent experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Extensive use and mastery of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
