Social Media and Marketing Manager

We are seeking an enthusiastic, hard-working, creative, and organized candidate to join our team. We are looking for a Social Media and Marketing Manager with recent and relevant experience that is savvy in the Information Technology (IT) consulting industry to develop, launch, and optimize initiatives that will attract new customers to our services. Candidates must have prior marketing experience and demonstrated success in the creation of orchestrated campaigns with measurable impact - including but not limited to web based lead generation, SEO optimization, PPC advertising, email drip campaigns, webinars, and social media.

 

Ideal candidates must have a referenced track record for writing professional marketing copy content, meeting all deadlines, an extremely high level of attention to detail, and a passion to deliver the best possible solutions, often with short lead times. Candidates should have the ability to think strategically; to communicate complex messages and guidance clearly and concisely to a broad audience; and to make sense of the information supplied, add to it, and use it to map out a clear structure for guidelines and other program documentation. Candidates must be able to produce content themselves and create a final deliverable.

 

Our target prospects are the owner or C-Level management of mid-market organizations. Our service offerings are focused on helping senior management translate business requirements into technology solutions with formal designs and budgets. We collaborate with the IT staff of the companies we target, so a background in technology is a requirement for success. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of IT.

 

Responsibilities

Translate marketing goals and objectives into actionable and measurable digital marketing initiatives, including online media, social, email, website strategy, SEO, and other digital components.
Proficiency with web based lead generation programs with experience creating and implementing orchestrated campaigns (with other marketing tools and staff) to source new qualified prospective clients.
Develop the strategic marketing plan, and effectively communicate strategies, targeting, positioning, and core messages.
Manage on a day-to-day basis the content, organization, design and technical execution of Equilibrium’s website.
Develop effective sales prospect feedback loops, listen to feedback, understand its implications, and translate feedback into better marketing activities.
Manage and produce content for the web/online efforts, including editing technical content from others.
Creating Rich Text graphic HTML Email Blasts.
Working with Direct Mail campaigns and email blast tools.
Creating promotional signage for Marketing Events.
Create and/or update collateral materials to be used by the sales team.
Provide ROI analysis of all marketing campaigns and sales activities.
Monitor, analyze, and report on business performance metrics.
Meet all important deadlines based on due dates and other relevant criteria.
Undertake special assignments/projects.

 

Preferred Experience and Technical Skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or similar.
3-5 years of years of recent relevant work experience in marketing, advertising, brand management or related field, and 7-10 years professional experience.
Successful experience in managing website creation and conversion to enhance revenues for internal businesses.
Proven ability to create promotional strategies and cross-platform messaging plans that drive engagement and frequency.
A demonstrated passion for digital marketing solutions and knowledge of how to leverage each to achieve marketing goals.
Understanding of online, offline, and partner marketing strategy development and channel execution.
Web design lead conversion best practice experience.
Experience working with content management systems.
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation - examples of previous work optimal).
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS.
Proven ability to create successful email campaigns.

Strong leader with a proven track record of taking ownership and driving results.
Proven analytical and quantitative skills.
Demonstrated ability to work with both technical and non-technical individuals.

 

The Social Media and Marketing Manager will report directly to the President of Equilibrium and is responsible for co-developing our marketing and social media strategy. This position is part time (approx. 20 to 30 hours per week) and up to 90% remote. Pay is commensurate with experience. Possibility to convert to a full time employee, based on the organization growth and future needs.
